As well as building web sites as a freelancer, I have worked for local and state government organisations, and consulting firms in Townsville and Brisbane contributing to their own corporate web sites or building for external clients.

Web Content Editor - Logan City Council

February 2007 - Current

My role is central to all content on the web site. I am progressing through a complete content review, and carrying out user testing to prepare for a new web site, with new a design, IA and templates in MOSS 2007.

Web Content Manager - Southbank Institute of Technology

September 2006 - February 2007 (6 months)

Content editing was centralised with me as the web site was not in a content management system. I ensured it was consistent with Queensland Government CUE requirements.

Helpdesk Support Officer - Resolute IT

September 2005 - March 2006 (7 months)

My role involved supporting councils based in rural Queensland whose web sites were hosted with Resolute IT in Interwoven TeamSite as part of the LGOnline solution. An in-depth knowledge of Interwoven's web site content management solution, TeamSite, was required as I provided on-site training, documentation and phone support to council staff.

Web Content Producer - Department of Education, Training and the Arts

March 2005 - September 2005 (7 months)

My role involved content producing, client support, usability reviews, and web site restructuring for several TAFEs where our project team implemented Interwoven TeamSite CMS.

January 2005 - March 2005 (3 months)

As Production Officer I was responsible for the accuracy and presentation of all documentation leaving the office, including letters, specifications, certificates and reports.

Business Applications Officer - Townsville City Council

May 2003 - November 2004 (1 year 7 months)

Originally hired as an Information Technology trainee, I was hired upon completion as the Business Applications Officer in the Web Development Team. My role involved managing content on the Intranet and the corporate web site, liaising with clients to gather and write new content, and review areas of the sites.
